Information of the Catechumen (The person being baptised)

Tip: We always encourage people to regularly come to church and to be active in the life of St Matthews.

Tip: We understand some families have a long history with St Matthews. We are happy to discuss the possibility of baptism but may require you to do preparation with your local Anglican church.

Tip: At St Matthews we love speaking with people about Jesus. We are glad to discuss baptism and what it means.

Please email: minister@windsoranglican.asn.au or speak to us at one of our services and we will be in contact with you regarding baptism. We understand some families have a long history with St Matthews. We are happy to discuss the possibility of baptism but may require you to do preparation with your local Anglican church.

Tip: Baptism whether for children or adults is a wonderful moment when a person declares their faith in Jesus Christ. Parents and godparents do that on behalf of children. Adults speak for themselves.

The date of baptism is determined by the Rector, in coordination with the church calendar and through negotiation with the adult to be baptised or parents of a child to be baptised.
